La injusticia contra los Cinco Héroes continúa… pero también la lucha por lograr su libertad

Los 22 delegados al 23 Encuentro de Organizaciones de Solidaridad con Cuba de los países nórdicos, representantes de Suecia, Noruega, Dinamarca, Finlandia, Islandia e Irlanda, reunidos en Gotemburgo el 18 y 19 de junio, acordamos continuar denunciando la injusta detención en cárceles norteamericanas de los cinco luchadores antiterroristas cubanos, encarcelados precisamente por impedir que se efectuaran acciones terroristas, planificadas desde territorios de Estados Unidos contra el pueblo de Cuba.

Exigimos poner fin a la doble moral e hipocresía del gobierno norteamericano, que debe liberar de inmediato a esos Cinco cubanos, denominados héroes en su patria, al mismo tiempo que debe encarcelar a los verdaderos terroristas confesos, autores de numerosos crímenes contra Cuba, y que se pasean libremente por las calles de Miami.

No descansaremos hasta que se haga justicia y los Cinco ¡regresen a su Patria!

We, the 22 delegates from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Ireland at the 23rd Northern European Meeting of Cuba Solidarity organisations, held in Gothenburg 18-19 June, agree to continue denouncing the unjust detention in U.S. prisons of the Five Cuban antiterrorist fighters. The Cuban Five were imprisoned for preventing terrorist actions planned from U.S. territory.

We demand an end to the double standards and hypocrisy of the U.S. government and urge them to immediately release the Cuban Five. Instead they must put the real terrorists in prison. They are the ones who have committed a series of terrorist attacks aimed at Cuba and yet they are free to walk the streets of Miami.

We will not rest until justice is done and the Cuban Five return to their homeland!
